It all started when…
Not only do I love Egypt, I also love history and photography. After traveling multiple times to Egypt on tours and taking over 10,000 digital images, I was craving something unique and more ‘out of the box’. Vintage images from around Egypt can be found in many shops in the markets and I just love them so I decided to travel to Egypt with my vintage Yashica 124 medium format camera during the spring of 2023.
The images I captured were exactly what I was looking for! Even though it was challenging to travel internationally with film, the results are definitely worth it!
After sharing a few of them on social media, I had multiple requests to offer prints, and so…..you can purchase your favorites in the gallery over on my photography website.
I’ll be returning to Egypt in October/November 2023 and will be taking more photos with my film cameras, so stay tuned…and even join me! I’ll take your photo! :-)
